Code Blue: An Ode to Filipino Nurses

The documentary film approaches five Filipino nurses at a point where they struggle in their careers. The story arc follows the career paths of Filipinos leaving the country, told through the eyes of different nurses from novice to professional to expert, all of whom are unknown to each other. Each person’s nuances and expectations are grounded by presenting each of their own reality throughout the film. This reflexive documentary also presents the daily living situation as an Overseas Filipino Worker.
